Seeking a friendly and capable live-out, full-time housekeeper for a position near Leicester. Approximate hours could be 9am-5pm daily, however flexibility would be appreciated as the principal may require occasional weekend or evening help.
Responsibilities
The housekeeper will be responsible for the general upkeep, cleaning, and organising of a 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom farmhouse. This will include:
Maintaining a clean and tidy environment by vacuuming, mopping, dusting and wiping all surfaces
Keeping the bathrooms and bedrooms immaculate
Changing bedlinen and towels,
Preparing rooms for the arrival of guests,
Laundry and ironing
Occasional cooking and serving
Some pet care (3 dogs and 2 cats)
Requirements
Excellent attention to detail
Reliable, positive and friendly personality
A driver would be preferred, but isn't essential
Candidates must be happy to be totally hands-on, capable of taking on whatever needs doing
Pitch-in mentality with initiative, and strong organisational skills
While the role is mostly live-out, applicants must be comfortable house- and pet-sitting when the principal is travelling
