A wonderful family who likes to travel seeks a full-time live-in or live-out chef. The family resides in the Hamilton Mill neighborhood of Georgia and they will soon be moving to Chateau Elan. This is a new position and the perfect opportunity for someone to truly own the kitchen. The household consists of 3 adults, 2 small children, and a small staff treated like family. The schedule will be Monday through Friday with flexibility to work the occasional weekend. The chef will be expected to prepare 3 healthy meals per day, snacks, and some grab-and-go food for the weekends, like chopped fruit or overnight oats. There is space on the property to plant a garden for fresh veggies and herbs. The family is willing to relocate the right candidate.

• Full domain of the kitchen
• Meal planning/prep/cooking/serving of a variety of healthy meals
• Creatively incorporate veggies into meals for the kids
• Grocery shopping
• Maintaining proper inventory of supplies
• Manage and eliminate food waste
• General kitchen clean up (family has a housekeeper)

• Ability to accommodate various food preferences such as anti-inflammatory, no red meat or cheese
• True passion for food and love of cooking
• Ability to source fresh ingredients and incorporate seasonal produce
• Kind, team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-starter who can create a system for inventory management and overall functionality of the kitchen
• Willingness to research ingredients that may be beneficial to the family and make menu suggestions
• Clear communicator
• Work pro-actively and intuitively
• The ability to cook Indian food would be a huge plus
