A kind, caring, and easy-going family on the Upper East Side seeks a full-time, live-out nanny/housekeeper to help care for their 3 children aged, 3-years, 6-years, and 7-years-old. The position is Monday through Friday and approximately noon-8pm. Both parents work, with Mum working from home twice a week. She is very involved in the children's daily lives and there will be many times when you will be working together as a tag team in an afternoon. 

Cleanliness is essential to the family, and they like to keep their household tidy, so while the children are in school you will complete any housekeeping tasks. Then once the children finish, they would be your main responsibility. The position is to start anytime, but by September at the latest. The family is looking for a candidate to stay with them for the long term, so communication is very important.

• Collect the children after school
• Take the children to any after-school activities
• Prepare the children's dinner
• Give children baths and help with bedtime
• To be able to establish a timetable and assist the children with their homework
• Day to day cleaning of the home; laundry, vacuuming, mopping, etc

• Must have experience working with multiple children of similar ages
• The ability to drive would be a plus but is not essential
• It would be a bonus if the candidate cooked meals for the whole family

• The family travels domestically for around a week at a time and would like the nanny to travel with them occasionally
• They travel to Maryland for the whole of July and August and would like for the nanny to travel with them for most, if not all the time 
• Babysitting may be required during the week and occasionally on the weekend; this will be paid overtime.
• The ideal candidate would be someone who is mild-mannered, kind, positive, happy and has good energy

• $35 p/h plus, depending on experience
