Overview

A busy family on the Upper East Side is looking for an experienced full-time, live-in, Fleuntly French-speaking nanny for their four young children; one going into kindergarten, twins going into pre-K, and one in nursery. The schedule is 5 days per week with the ability to travel internationally with the family. The mother stays home and the father works outside of the home.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to providing all aspects of childcare while creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
Fluent in French and able to teach children french, as spoken in France
Planning educational and recreational activities, as well as ensuring the safety of the children at all times
Managing children's day-to-day schedule
The caregiver should practice common sense and take initiative to accomplish tasks and make decisions
They will also be required to maintain a constant line of communication, reporting to the parents

Qualifications

The ideal candidate loves children, understands their social and emotional needs, is able to integrate learning into play-time, and is eager to work
The chosen candidate should be able to pro-actively anticipate the needs of the children and family
CPR and First Aid certified
Drivers license
