A lovely family of five on the Upper East Side is seeking a full-time housekeeper/nanny to assist with the care of their home and children, ages 6, 4, and 8 months. The schedule for this role is Friday through Tuesday, with a guaranteed 48 hours per week. The detailed schedule is as follows- Friday: 9am-5pm, Saturday 8am-8pm, Sunday 7am-7pm, Monday 12pm-8pm, Tuesday 12pm-8pm. This position requires that the candidate sleep over every Saturday. The majority of duties on weekdays will be related to housekeeping, while the weekend will mostly require childcare. The family needs someone to start prior to June 20, and the position will begin as live-in in the Hamptons until Labor Day.

• Deep cleaning
• Organization and tidying
• Family laundry and ironing
• Basic household errands
• Grocery shopping as needed
• Assisting with serving/cleanup when the family hosts dinner parties
• Overseeing children’s bath/bedtime routines
• Preparing basic children’s meals
• Accompanying children to activities
• Engaging and playing with the children, particularly on the weekend
• Infant care, including managing her naps and feeding, taking her on walks, and reading to her

• Experience with and comfort working with children
• Ability to sort laundry and determine which items must be sent for specialty service
• Ability to work well on a team- this role will overlap with a full-time housekeeper, full-time nanny, and involved parents
• Comfort working with high end fabrics and furnishings
• Nurturing and loving, engaging with children
• Great communication skills

• Flexibility for date nights several times per month
• Must sleep over every Saturday
• Must live-in 5 days per week in the Hamptons from late June through Labor Day
• Availability for travel 1-2 times per year is NOT required, but would be a bonus
• Driving and swimming are NOT required, but would be an asset

• $35/hour
• $100/night for sleeping over (whether in NYC, Hamptons, or traveling)
• Performance based summer and end of year bonuses
