A busy and kind Prospect Heights based family is looking for a weekend HK/nanny to help adjust to parenting 2 under 2. The schedule is Saturday OR Sunday from 9am-5pm but they can be flexible for the right person. The role will start in January but interview start asap.

The family has a 1-month-old and a 17 month-old. They will need someone who can help with kids when needed but also help with the chaos of home when needed. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Caring for the kids as needed-
  • Basic cooking and meal prep
  • Feeding
  • Changing
  • Play-time
  • Naps
  • Walks to park, playground, and classes
  • Basic cleaning like washing bottles and cleaning up after meals
• Light-housekeeping
  • Keeping the kitchen and living room clean and tidy (not deep cleaning but doing the dishes and loading the dishwasher)
  • Meal prep and simple batch cooking for family

The family is looking for someone who:

• Takes the initiative
• Is energetic and fast
• can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Is warm, confident, punctual, committed, kind, and communicative

• Legal to work in the US
• 5+ years experience with newborns and toddlers
• CPR-certified (willing to pay for recertification)
• TDAP, COVID and flu-vaccinated
• SPANISH speaking

• Compensation for this role does depend on experience ranges from $35-$45 per hour and is flexible for the right fit.
