A lovely family near the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan with two young school-aged children is seeking a nanny starting in July. The schedule will be Monday from 10am to 8pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 12pm to 8pm and Fridays from 12pm to 6pm (a total of 40 hours). The family spends some long weekends and each summer outside of the city in Long Island, so the nanny would need to be open to joining them for the summer during weekdays.

Both children are in school (at the same place), and summer day-camps, but after-school activities will vary. The job responsibilities will include caring for and engaging the children in a developmentally appropriate way and keeping their lives running smoothly. This will include grocery shopping and errands, taking them to and from activities, and keeping both children organized. The nanny will also manage the children's routines, including meals, homework help, and keep their spaces and belongings neat and tidy with light housekeeping tasks. The ideal candidate is engaging, warm, honest, and energetic. They are searching for a nanny who has strong attention to detail and time management, and who has impeccable communication skills. This person must be flexible to shift hours in case one or both children is home from school.

Driving skills and swimming skills are required (for Summer). Cooking skills are a plus. Pay will be fully on the books, so do apply with your gross amount listed.
