A lovely family based in central London seeks a wonderful live-out housekeeper/cook for their flat. The schedule will usually be Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm, however, there may be occasional later afternoons or evenings and possibly very occasional weekend help required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the home;

• Keeping on top of laundry and ironing for the household
• All cleaning including sweeping, dusting, and hoovering regularly
• General organization and tidying around the home
• Some errands such as food shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and returning orders, etc.
• There may be occasions where some support around childcare would be helpful, such as warming milk, however the family has a full-time nanny and so this won't be a regular request

For the cooking aspect of the position, candidates should be confident in preparing an evening meal for the principals that can be reheated later the same day or over the weekend.  The family mainly enjoys clean and fresh Mediterranean and Asian-style cooking.

The ideal candidate has a bright, positive personality, and a pitch-in mentality. Mum is currently at home some of the time, so expect some input and guidance and please be adaptable and happy to accommodate requests. A decent level of English is essential; the housekeeper/cook will need to be an effective communicator and able to take on-board instruction and feedback.
