Overview

A busy retired athlete in the Bay Area is seeking a full-time Spanish speaking personal assistant to coordinate and maintain business and personal schedules.  The role is based out of the Bay Area, in Atherton, and requires the candidate to work on-site, not remotely.  The candidate MUST be a NATIVE Spanish speaker or 100% fluent, as the principal has business and personal interests in the US and Spain.  The interview will be conducted in English and Spanish to validate fluency.  The candidate should be energetic and flexible - this is a fast-paced, always-changing environment, somebody who can roll with the punches and adapt as schedules and plans change constantly.  Flexibility to travel is needed for weeks or months at a time.  The family spend months in Spain over the Summer and travel all the time.  The principal would prefer someone already local to the Bay Area, but are open to relocating the perfect fit.

The successful candidate will find it second nature to juggle appointments, do heavy calendaring, ensure on-time arrival at all appointments and events, develop and maintain professional and business-like relationships with appropriate contacts, and represent the principal at all times.  You must be able to deliver clear communication on behalf of the principal with all members of his team, including trainers, doctors, family members, sponsors, media, charitable organizations, etc.  Discretion and privacy are critical at all times, including avoiding taking or retaining photos and engaging in any fashion on social media outlets concerning the principal.  You will assist in oversight of the principal's residences, providing access to repair and maintenance personnel, coordinating receipt of deliveries, and handling the needs of housekeeping and other staff members as well as facilitating booking of travel, flights, and cars, running errands as requested, and assisting family members and team members with any matters as requested.  This role requires professional attire at all times.  The family is offering a competitive salary, paid time off, and a medical stipend based on experience.  You must be legally working in the US, have a US passport, green card, or EAC, and be fully vaccinated to apply for this role.  If you are interested in this position, please apply to KS657.
