Overview

A family in Hillsborough/SF is seeking one more candidate to complete a four-person ROTA PA/Companion position. The family offers a competitive salary and a complete benefits package, including 401(k). They are hiring for the shift that is scheduled from 8am-8:15pm. You would have a few days on and off, making it a total of 7 days worked over two weeks. This role is hiring immediately.  This is a live-out position, so you should already be living locally to the SF/Bay Area.  The family is not looking to relocate anyone at this time.

The candidate must be tech-savvy! The estate is managed through Google Suite and there will be a trial day just for tech-related knowledge of emails using Gmail, Google Suite, and Google Calendar. The candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs, read and write English fluently, and be patient, kind, and caring.  The primary responsibilities will include escorting senior members of the family on daily outings, running errands, personal shopping, acting as a research assistant, tech troubleshooting, and calendar management. At times, the couple hosts small gatherings and would require the candidate to help the rest of the staff with the event logistics, table service, etc. To be successfully considered for the role, a candidate must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The candidate should have their own working vehicle for daily use on the job. There will be required daily driving around the Bay Area of 400+ miles per month. The family will provide mileage/gas reimbursement.

As an assistant, there will be an administrative function to handle vendor contact information, manage and organize medical records via Google Suite, schedule appointments, attend appointments with family members, take notes, request refills, and pick up. A medical or nursing background is a plus! There will be occasional overnight trips with the family, and also travels internationally for up to 3 weeks per year. You will have a private room or lodging provided. Keeping the senior family member's bedrooms/bathrooms tidy and organized will be required. Preparing snacks, drinks, lunch, and laundry when the rest of the team is off-site or in need of help. The family has a large dog, so the candidate must be okay working with a dog in the home. This will include helping with feedings, walks, and whatever additional help the team may need. If you are legal to work in the US and have a valid US Passport or green card/EAC, please apply immediately to KS652.
