A sweet family of four living in Long Island are seeking a full-time live-out housekeeper/nanny for their home with an anticipated start date of April 1st, 2023.  The schedule will generally be 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility needed. The family is made up of two parents, who are working from home/are home throughout the day, and two children aged 4 and 1.5-years-old.  The parents are ideally looking for someone who can be an extra hand around the home. 

General job responsibilities include food preparation of healthy organic meals for both the children and adults (when needed), running errands for the family (including food shopping), caring for and engaging with the children, general housekeeping (laundry, tidying up spaces, keeping the kitchen clean, bathrooms etc).  The family has a dog, so someone who is comfortable with interacting with her (and occasionally letting  her out in the backyard) is a must. The ideal candidate will be a team-player who is organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented, and will know how to anticipate the needs of the family. They should have a pleasant demeanor and enjoy working with children. Someone with a calm energy who is proactive, hard working, smart, and responsible.

A COVID vaccine,  a driver’s license, and your own car are all required for this role.  Compensation for this role does depend on experience and ranges from $30-$40/hr and is flexible for the right person.
