A family based in Brooklyn is seeking a full-time, live-in, child-friendly housekeeper to start ASAP. The family are open to various scheduling options so candidates should specify their preference upon application. They do have a strong need for cover at weekends but are open to candidates who are only available Monday through Friday. 

Though the candidate's primary responsibility will be to maintain the family home, candidates will also be required on occasion to assist the family’s full-time nanny with the care of their 2 children (aged 2.5-years and 4-months), and so you must be comfortable working with children. Responsibilities may therefore include helping with school drop-off/pick-up, assisting with the morning and evening routine, assisting with food prep (though the nanny loves to cook so this is not a deal breaker), helping to proxy parent when both parents are traveling, and more. 

Candidates must have a high standard of cleanliness, scheduling/organization, timeliness, order, ethics, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be warm, friendly, flexible, and a team-player. The family are offering a rate of $35 per hour to the successful candidate, as well as a monthly health-care stipend.
