A private UHNW household based in Malibu seek a professional, full-time, live-out nanny to join their team toward the end of March or beginning of April.  Expect a 5 day per week schedule, from 8am - 8pm, with the family requiring coverage over weekends as well. 

The nanny will be caring for four children ranging in age from 3-11 years, working as part of a nanny team of between 2 and 4 at any one time.  Responsibilities will include supporting homework, encouraging and participating in educational and traditional games, overseeing sports and recreational activities, cleaning and organising the children's bedrooms, toys, clothes, and belongings, working alongside tutors and schools, managing hectic family schedules, and generally being responsible for the children's happiness, health and well-being.  The principals are hands-on and involved, so candidates should be comfortable tag-teaming with the parents and with being responsive to the general environment, and must be effective team-players.

The ideal candidate is upbeat, positive, and energetic, has an understanding of professional boundaries and is excellent at reading the room.  Previous experience (and longevity) in a similar household is essential, and a pitch-in attitude would be appreciated.  The family travel internationally and domestically on a regular basis and the nanny would be expected to accompany them for some of those trips.  Summer travels may be for between 4 and 8 weeks, so candidates must be flexible and able to accompany the family for at least some of the time.
