A lovely family living in Shrewsbury, NJ is seeking a full-time live-out nanny to assist with care of their two sons, ages 10 months and 4.5 years. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, with some flexibility for occasional changes due to parents' work schedules. This position is available for an immediate start, or the family is able to wait until the summer for the right person.    The older child attends full-day school, so the majority of duties will relate to care of the 10-month-old, and will include child related tidying and laundry, preparing children's meals including baby food, providing an engaging and stimulating environment for development, and proactively researching and planning outings and classes. A lovely family on the Upper West Side of NYC is seeking a nighttime NCS for their baby due at the end of July. The contracted term will be 4 months (through late November/early December) and the work schedule will be 12 hours per night, 7 days per week. The family plans to travel to their home in the Hamptons from early August to Labor Day (about 1 month) and then on weekends from September-December, so the NCS would live-in during that month and on weekends thereafter but would still not work any daytime hours. In the Hamptons, the NCS will have their own room to rest in and retreat to, and meals will be provided during those days. When in NYC, the position is live-out.  This is the family's second baby, and mom will be on maternity leave during the length of the contract. They plan to feed on demand (breastfeeding and pumping) and do not want to purposefully stretch the hours between feeds overnight. The ideal candidate is confident but can defer to the parents' preferences, knows when to jump in and out of family time, and is comfortable keeping to themselves during the non-working daytimes in Long Island.
