A lovely family in the West Village is looking for a live-in weekend nanny for their child who is 6-years-old. The family split their time between their homes in Manhattan and the Hamptons. The parents are divorced so the nanny would switch homes every other weekend, however both parents live within blocks of each other. The schedule will be Friday from 6pm to 8pm, Saturday from 7am to 7pm, and Sunday 7am to 4pm with flexibility needed. The nanny will be expected to spend weekends in the Hamptons June through August. 

The main responsibilities will include all care related to the child including, but not limited to, engaging with the child, planning activities, coordinating play-dates, and preparing meals for the child. The parents like to be hands-on when they can, so you must know when to take a step back and let the parents be parents. The ideal candidate will take initiative, be calm, friendly, and enthusiastic about childhood development.
