A full-time driver is sought for a formal, high-end home in NYC, to start ASAP. The schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, with flexibility required to work earlier, later, or work weekends when required. The role will mostly be based in NYC, but may extend to the Hamptons and Scarsdale on occasion.

The driver will be responsible for taking the principals, family, and guests to and from their home and recreational interests using the principal’s vehicle. They will offer point-to-point services using experience and local knowledge for the quickest and safest routes to travel. This person is required to open/close passenger doors, help their passengers to get in and out of the car, run errands, and carry luggage as needed.  

Primary responsibilities will include, though are not limited to; checking car conditions daily (both mechanical and aesthetic), vacuuming and cleaning the interior of the car; maintaining a violation-free/current driver’s license; waxing and washing the exterior of the car; servicing the car and determining if repairs are needed; getting the oil changed and fluids checked regularly; making minor repairs and adjustments; renewing license plates, registrations and insurance as necessary; washing and drying windows daily; maintaining relevant safety and music subscriptions; keeping the car gassed and ready at all times; ensuring all cars meet their respective service requirements; maintaining service records; ensuring all cars are re-fitted for all industry re-calls; keeping records of all car expenses; making sure the vehicle is equipped with the necessary amenities; performing new car acquisition due diligence when needed; managing garaging needs and payment; maintaining a professional appearance at all times, and more.

Candidates must ideally have a minimum of 5 years of experience driving HNW individuals, understand the importance of utilizing discretion and confidentiality in the workplace, be able to use good judgment, recognize priorities, and be a self-starter. A positive and flexible attitude when responding to the changing requirements of the principals is also essential.

Only those candidates who are fully COVID vaccinated will be considered. Candidates must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
