A busy family of five living in Carroll Gardens is seeking a family assistant/nanny to join their team in April 2023. The family has three children ages 17,14, and 5 and they are looking for someone to help their lives run more smoothly. This is a full-time position and will ideally be 40-45 hours per week- Monday through Friday 2pm to 9pm, and two Saturdays per month for around 6-7 hours. They are also open to a candidate working one full Saturday and Sunday per month as an alternative. 

Job duties include everything related to the family including keeping the apartment organized and tidy, meal prep including cooking dinner daily, family laundry from time to time, maintaining kitchen tidiness throughout the day, unpacking grocery deliveries, 
shopping and errands, overseeing deliverers, maintenance, and vendors in the home, help with packing and unpacking for trips, and calendar management. The role will also include helping with the children, but mainly the 5-year-old. This will entail daily pick-up from school, any extra curricular activities, and overseeing dinner and afternoon/evening routines.

The ideal candidate will be a team-player who is organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented, and will know how to anticipate the needs of the family. They should have a pleasant demeanor and enjoy working with children. Someone with a calm energy who is proactive, hard working, smart, and responsible. Candidates must be COVID vaccinated to be considered. Compensation for this role does depend on experience and ranges from $30-$40/hr and is flexible for the right person.
