A sweet family of three based in Mill Valley, north of San Francisco, is seeking a travel nanny to join their family. The family travels twice per year- approximately 4-6 weeks in the summer, and 4-6 weeks in the winter. Ideally, the family would like to find one nanny whose focus is travel, and would be able to accompany them on these annual trips. This travel is international and will mainly take place at their home in Switzerland. During these trips the schedule is flexible- it can vary depending on the parent's work schedule, and they are seeking someone who is adaptable and can roll with a dynamic environment.

The family has one son who is 3-years-old, and they will likely continue to grow their family. Duties will encompass everything related to the child, including children's meal prep, keeping his areas tidy and organized, packing for him, and planning activities and outings in various destinations. Candidates for this role should be present and nurturing, and should enjoy getting on the floor and playing with the child. Both parents are very involved, so the nanny should be comfortable working on a team. The ideal candidate for this role will be discreet, caring, playful, and engaging, and will have experience traveling for extended periods with families. 

During travel the nanny will have their own private room and bathroom, and overnight care is not required. Swimming is required for this role, as is a COVID vaccination and CPR/First Aid certification. The nanny will ideally be located in the Bay area, and will be able to spend time with the child semi-regularly throughout the year. The family also has a home in NYC, so if the nanny is located in NYC they should be willing to visit with the family when they are in town. The family is open to candidates from other areas as well for the perfect fit. The family is open and able to provide a competitive rate in the range of $35-40/hr.+ depending on experience.
