Overview

A lovely family living in London is seeking a housekeeper/cook/nanny to join their family.  The family consists of a single mother and her 10-year-old daughter, they are looking for an extra hand to help their lives run more smoothly.  This is a full-time position with 50-60 hours per week being offered.  The family is ideally looking for a person who would live in 5-6 days per week minimum, but are negotiable based on candidate's needs as well.  If you chose to live-in, a private bedroom and shared bathroom will be provided. The family also consists of 2 medium sized dogs and a cat. 

 

This position would start ASAP while the family is still living in New York City.  The family will be in New York until late April and are looking for a candidate to start with them in New York and then move back with them to London.  The family will also sponsor a work visa for this time. Job duties will include everything related to the family including keeping the house organized and clean, cooking for the family, family laundry, light ironing, maintaining kitchen tidiness throughout the day, buying groceries, occasional shopping and errands, helping the daughter when needed, and assisting with pet care. 

 

The ideal candidate will be a team-player who is discreet, resourceful, and detail-oriented, and will know how to anticipate the needs of the family. They should have a pleasant demeanor and enjoy working with children. Someone energetic, honest, hard working, smart, and responsible.
