Seeking an organised and efficient yet easy-going personal assistant for a young and dynamic principal based mainly in Monaco. Expect a usual schedule of Monday through Friday, however there will be regular travel (for up to 6 months of the year) during which hours will be irregular and possibly longer. Flexibility is therefore key.
Duties will be varied and will include provisioning and maintaining household inventories, personal shopping, making reservations and booking appointments, organising holidays including developing itineraries and schedules, sorting mail, answering emails, household management and budgeting, working closely with other staff members (housekeeper, chef, executive assistant, etc), shipping items, some general household/housekeeping tasks, general errands, building and maintaining constructive and positive relationships with vendors and contractors, and remaining a couple of steps ahead at all times to ensure the principal has everything he needs and that his personal life runs smoothly at all times, amongst many other things.
The ideal candidate has plenty of prior experience assisting a principal in his private life and with managing household and life-style requirements. A love of travel is essential and candidates should be comfortable with remaining professional and discreet at all times in a relatively casual environment. Please have plenty of common sense, be able to work efficiently and effectively under your own steam, but also be a fantastic team-player when necessary. The principal is extremely bright, capable and fast-moving, he will expect the same from his personal assistant. A driver would be a bonus, fluent English is essential and a European passport would be preferred. Regular destinations will include European countries and central America. A generous salary is offered to the successful candidate, as well as 24 days holiday per year and sick pay.
