A warm and generous family based between the Upper East Side and Westchester are seeking a full-time career nanny to care for their three children, aged 5, 2, and a newborn (a newborn care specialist will be with the family for the baby’s first 6-months). The schedule will be 8am-7pm, Thursday through Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off each week. The family spend Friday through Sunday at their home in Westchester, so the nanny will need to travel with them and spend Friday and Saturday night there, then travel back to the City with them on Sunday.  

The days worked in the City will be live-out, and the days spent in Westchester will be live-in- there is no option for the nanny to live-in full-time. There will be no cooking required as there is a chef (placed by BAHS), and no laundry as there is a housekeeper. The nanny’s sole responsibility will be the safety, welfare, and general care of the children. Being a team-player is key, as you’ll be part of a positive, supportive household, including a respectful, collaborative stay-at-home mom and another nanny who works from Monday through Friday. 

The ideal candidate will need to wear a few hats- in the City they will need to be supremely organized and keep on top of schedules, getting the children to school, various activities, play-dates, etc. on time, while in Westchester they’ll need to be outdoorsy, happy to take the children on nature walks and get creative/make their own fun. It’s essential that candidates be strong swimmers as there is a pool and a lake at the family’s home in Westchester. Only those candidates who are fully COVID vaccinated will be considered. The family have two hypoallergenic dogs so candidates must be pet friendly. A current driving license and clean driving record is a huge bonus.
