A lovely family of three is seeking a Portuguese speaking nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old daughter. The schedule for this position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-6:30pm. The family is Brazilian and would love for the nanny to speak Portuguese to their daughter in the home. 

Duties for this position include all childcare, as well as child-related tasks such as organizing her room and doing her laundry. The nanny will also prepare basic healthy meals for the child, inclusive of a protein, carbohydrate, and vegetable. They would love to find someone who is willing to cook for the whole family, but this is not a requirement. Brazilian food would be a bonus, but is not necessary, and they are open to someone who is willing to learn. The child is in school for several hours each day, the nanny can use that time for shopping and meal preparation. The ideal nanny for this role will be warm, gentle, and will enjoy playing and engaging with the child. 

The family travels once or twice per year, for approximately one week at a time, and they would love for their nanny to accompany them. This travel is domestic and international. They have a second home in Westchester, and the ideal nanny will be willing to work there occasionally during the summer months. The family has a cat and small dog- the dog is friendly but barks, so candidates should be comfortable working around dogs. A COVID vaccination is required for this position.
