Seeking a warm, professional and experienced live-out housekeeper for a beautiful home in Ibiza.  The principal can be flexible around the start date, but ideally it would be January or February 2023.  The general schedule will be Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm, however candidates should understand that there will be busier periods when the principal (and guests) may be in residence, and quieter periods during the winter months.  

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, all cleaning (mopping, dusting, vacuuming, etc) and tidying, laundry and ironing, bed-making and turn downs, deep cleaning, errands, grocery shopping, ensuring the home is fully stocked with all household, food and drink items, and really anything and everything that contributes to the smooth running of the home and a warm, welcoming, and beautifully presented environment.  Candidates should have at least 5 years prior experience in a private home and previous hotel experience would also be appreciated. 

The principal is keen to find someone who takes pride in their work, displays impressive attention to detail and who will look after the home as their own.  A fluent or native English speaker is essential, while working knowledge of Spanish would be a bonus, and a confident, safe driver is also a must.  Discretion is paramount and candidates should be full of initiative and common sense, happy to work independently and without much oversight or direction.  While formal service and chef-style cooking isn't required, looking after the needs of the principal and guests would be appreciated, as would some light meal prep and home-style cooking on occasion.  Candidates should be well-versed in reading the room, comfortable knowing when to be present and when to step back and allow privacy.  Summer months will be busier and it is likely that days will be longer and some weekend work will be required.  Winter months will be much quieter, the role will be less active and more about general upkeep, maintenance and taking the opportunity to do the deep cleaning.  Flexibility is therefore key.
