A busy family based out of NYC is seeking a chef to travel with them between their homes in NYC, Montana, and Michigan. The family is seeking a NYC-based chef who is flexible to travel with them as needed to their additional properties in Michigan and other states. The position would be split between homes; January through mid-March in Montana, mid-March through to the beginning of June the chef is not required to work, June through August in Michigan, and September through December in NYC. The schedule would be 6 days per week in Michigan and Montana, 5 days per week with 2 consecutive days off in NYC, and 10 weeks off mid-March through June. Private housing will be provided in Montana and Michigan.
The family eats light, healthy, Mediterranean-style meals and prefer salads for lunch and family-style dinners. The successful chef must be down to earth, able to go with the flow, have a good sense of humor, and above all be flexible. You will be cooking for, on average, 3-7 people.
