A lovely family in Rowayton, CT is seeking a full-time live-in OR live-out housekeeper, with childcare responsibilities at times as well. For live-in, the days are 5 days per week, the schedule will be given in advance, but with full flexibility on hours. Two days will be given off each week, but they might not always be Saturday and Sundays, so flexibility there is a must as well. For live-out, the schedule will be Monday through Friday, 11am-7pm.

Duties include all aspects of housekeeping such as deep cleaning when necessary, tidying, laundry, occasional cooking, as well as grocery shopping and some light errands. The job also includes childcare when needed. The mom is a stay-at-home-mom, but at times the housekeeper will be asked to watch the 2 kids, ages 7 and 9-years-old. These duties will include after-school care, getting them snacks, and occasionally getting them bathed and put to bed. Someone who is comfortable watching them while mom travels in the future would be ideal. The ideal candidate will be confident in her experience, have good chemistry with the family, be proactive, have a high energy level, wants to learn, and has a positive energy.

This position requires the candidate to have some prior experience working as a housekeeper, childcare experience, knowledge of high-end homes with art and china, or a willingness to learn how to properly care for these items, must have a license and clean driving record, a COVID vaccine is a plus.
