A private family in East Hampton is seeking a top-tier house manager with a background in hospitality. The general schedule for this position will be five days per week, and may include some weekends and evenings as needed. The family also has a home in NYC and there may be occasional travel to the secondary property while the family is in residence. 

Job duties for this role include day-to-day management of the home, including scheduling and supervising a team of housekeepers, overseeing vendors, managing some aspects of travel including packing and unpacking, and generally keeping the home running smoothly through daily walk-throughs and inspections. The home is a dynamic environment with frequent guests and events, and the house manager is responsible for keeping the home in top shape at all times. This is an extensive property with a large team of staff, and the candidate should have experience managing and working with different personality types and maintaining a positive work environment. The ideal candidate for this role will be polished, proactive, and a great communicator.
