A lovely couple on the Upper West Side are seeking a full-time live-out career nanny for their one-year-old son. The position will be Monday through Friday and there are three schedule options- 5am-2pm, 7am-6pm or 12pm-10pm. The family wants to find the best of the best, and are willing to be flexible on schedule to make it work with the right person. A second nanny will be hired for the alternate shift.

The family is looking for a nanny with an educator mindset, who is developmentally focused and is interested and invested in introducing their child to the world and helping him to thrive. A college degree is required for consideration, and a degree in a child-related field such as education or childhood development is preferred. Duties will include everything related to the child and his well-being. This includes but is not limited to- child-related laundry, organization projects, researching and scheduling classes and activities, preparing his meals, and child-related shopping. The nanny will be responsible for all aspects of travel including packing, planning and scheduling activities, and reaching out to the hotel to plan for meals and special accommodations. This position is a collaborative one- the family will be hiring additional nannies, and the nannies will work together to create a cohesive and positive team for the family and child.

Both parents are in and out of the home throughout the day and are very involved- the nanny should feel comfortable with this dynamic and should have experience working with parents who are home and involved throughout the day. The nanny will ideally have experience working on a childcare team and must have recent experience with toddler-aged children. The ideal candidate for this position is educated, engaging, flexible, thoughtful, and easy-going, and will be a great communicator with strong leadership skills. The family would like to find a candidate who wants to be with them long-term as their family grows. 

This position requires a candidate who is COVID vaccinated and boosted, and swimming is also required. The family travels throughout the year, both domestically and internationally and they would like to find a nanny who is willing and able to accompany them. This family is seeking the best of the best- they will relocate a candidate from anywhere in the US and are offering a rate of $30-50/hr. and full benefits.
