House Manager


A family based in Nichols Hills, OK, is seeking a house manager to start in January 2022. The schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, with flexibility required to accommodate additional needs.


Among other things, responsibilities will include pre-screening new staff, hiring/ firing and generally managing the household staff (nannies, chef, housekeepers, driver, handyman, gardeners etc.), liaising with contractors and vendors, managing travel coordination for the family, communicating clearly with the principals and their respective assistants on a daily basis, helping with gift orders/ birthdays/ holidays (for family/ extended family and the household team), managing salary and bonus recommendations for the staff, creating a household manual and a staffing plan of attack, handling all confidentiality, making sure the principals are both aware of key and important household-related affairs, handing the maintenance schedule, ensuring the principals have food arranged for quotidian eating and caterers arranged for their small parties/ events, implementing protocol for high value items such as art, silver, chinaware, crystal, helping to set up other households (specifically in New York and London), and more.


Candidates must be sophisticated, meticulous, extremely organized, seasoned and able to handle two demanding CEO’s. Ideally, candidates will be fully vaccinated.
