A busy bi-coastal family is seeking a full-time chef to work at their home in Los Angeles, and travel with them to additional properties on the East Coast. The schedule for this position is generally 40 hours per week and does require some flexibility.
The chef will be cooking for two principals, as well as guests and staff as needed. Lunch and/or dinner preparation will be required. The chef should be adaptable, extremely skilled, and should enjoy farm to table cuisine, sourcing the best ingredients to create simple and delicious meals. The family enjoys a wide range of cuisine, so the chef should have expertise across the culinary spectrum.
The chef should be based out of LA, but have the ability to travel for extended periods of time with the family. These travel periods will include a full summer in the Hamptons, Thanksgiving, and more.
