A busy bi-coastal family is seeking an assistant to their household managers, based in East Hampton, NY. The schedule for this position will vary depending on the needs of the household, and flexibility is required.
In this position the assistant will work very closely with the family's team of east coast managers, who care for and maintain their east coast properties. You will be responsible for all administrative tasks; your role is to provide administrative support and assist with home office duties. These duties include but are not limited to, answering phones, copying, filing, researching, sending emails, and and preparing items for the managers and estate manager as needed. Some errands are required, such as grocery shopping, picking up purchases, and sourcing items. Other duties include managing staff celebrations, handling ordering, packing and shipping, managing ongoing to-do lists, supervising vendors, ensuring guest and visitor comfort, and more. This is a collaborative position, so candidates should feel completely comfortable working on a team, and both taking and giving instruction and feedback. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and decisive, with great communication skills and the ability to prioritize.
This is a full-time year-round position. A driver's license and car is required, and competitive salary and benefits will be provided. A COVID vaccine is also required.
